Lush oak cut and felled
Seasons of growth wistful end
A new home adorned
it is, indeed, a sacrifice of beauty ~~

Love this Haiku, 1G4AW, although I feel a bit guilty looking at my oak cabinets.:)
We ALL enjoy a sacrifice of beauty in many things besides nature, it’s the way we live. I bet you are like me…enjoying the beauty the oak gives you…sort of like the children’s book “The Giving Tree” I LOVE that book!!!!!!
🙂 Thank you!
Beautiful use of words. Thank you for the outstanding poem.
